Lip filler—but look at the✨ chin✨

The most impactful part of this treatment wasn’t actually the lips themselves. It was addressing the chin shadows that were pulling the whole area down and inward, creating shadows rather than the light reflection we want. When the support structure around the mouth is neglected, lips end up looking overdone no matter how conservative the technique. The lips are fresh and rejuvenated but everything around it is not—that’s why it starts to look off.

Working within this patient’s budget, we were able to restore rather than just add. That’s the difference between lips that look done and out of place and lips that look like yours again.

The chin is one of my favorite areas to treat and this is exactly why!

Microneedling, demystified. It can seem intimidating but it’s really not. Here’s how it goes...

Consent→cleanse→numb→cleanse→microneedle→out the door with your post-care instructions. That’s it. ✨

The Beautiful Nightmare conference from last month is still at top of my brain. I walked away with a ton of tips, anatomy knowledge and pearls but these were for sure the overarching takeaways.

A vascular occlusion can and, unfortunately, will happen at some point in our career. Sucks but true. So it’s not about being able to avoid it completely, but instead implementing techniques that minimize the risk AND actually knowing how the f to respond to it when it happens.

If you’ve followed me for any length of time, this list probably doesn’t surprise you.

I always start with a biostimulator like Sculptra because collagen loss is really the foundation of every aging concern—and it’s the one thing most people aren’t addressing first or even thinking about.

From there I layer in strategic filler. I know filler has a bad reputation right now, but it’s still the only tool we have to replace the volume your face is actually losing over time—from fat pads to bone. The key is using very conservative amounts, strategically placed at the right depths and layers to move and look like your own tissue. You can’t ignore volume loss and expect to look balanced, but with the right approach it’s never about adding more, it’s about restoring what was there.

What I’ve noticed over the years is that when someone’s results start to look a little off, it’s almost never because of one specific treatment—it’s because they’ve been piecemealing. Doing tox but ignoring skin health, or getting filler without ever addressing the collagen loss or skin health. Aging is happening on every front at once and when you only address part of it, things start to look imbalanced in a way that’s hard to put your finger on but everyone notices. That’s really what this list is about—treating the whole picture so nothing looks out of place.

If all of this sounds great but also overwhelming, that’s what I’m here for 😉 Schedule a consultation so we can build out a plan!

Let me explain.

✨Tox takes a full two weeks to kick in. This is exactly why I won’t see you for a dose adjustment before then. Be patient, and then we reassess.

✨Sometimes you come in convinced you need a specific treatment when you actually don’t. My job is to make sure your time and money go toward what will genuinely address your concern—not just what sounds right or what you saw on tik Tok.

✨The most “frozen” you’ll feel is at the 2–4 week mark. After that, tox slowly wears off and movement gradually returns. Having movement at 6 weeks is completely normal. You won’t be frozen solid for 3 months.

✨The only tool we have in the injectable world to address real volume loss is filler. Jawline, cheekbones, jowls—I can’t move the needle on those without at least some of it. That’s just the reality.

✨What’s the difference between TEMU and Louis Vuitton? You already know. The same logic applies here—except it’s your face and there are real medical risks involved. Cheap rarely equals experience, safety, or results.

✨Your face contains an incredibly complex, variable network of arteries, veins, and small vessels. Bruising is never 100% avoidable—I always do my best, but it’s part of the deal sometimes.

Did you already know all of these? Tell me in the comments👇

If you've tried microneedling and felt like the results were lackluster — it's probably one of these two things.

#1 you didn't do enough treatments. One or two sessions just won't cut it. Your body needs more collagen stimulation than that. Plan for a series of 4 to 6 treatments — sometimes more, depending on the severity and type of scarring you have.

#2: you skipped the growth factors. Adding PRP to your microneedling increases your odds of achieving more than 50% improvement in scars by threefold compared to microneedling alone. That's huge.

Do the full series. Add the PRP. Don't skip the growth factors.
