The Learning Connection

After years of working with children, adolescents, and families, our team has recognized a growing need among students participating in online education—a need for connection, social engagement, emotional support, and a calm environment to learn.

The Learning Connection was created to provide a safe, supportive space for students enrolled in the Florida Virtual School (FLVS) Flex Program. While students complete their online coursework independently, they can do so alongside peers in a structured and welcoming environment.

What The Learning Connection Offers:
• A safe and calm learning environment
• Opportunities to connect with peers
• Social-emotional wellness activities
• Mindfulness and self-care practices
• Encouragement of healthy routines and positive habits
• Supportive adult supervision

Please note: The Learning Connection does not provide academic instruction, tutoring, or educational services. Students remain enrolled in and complete all coursework through their FLVS program.
Our focus is on fostering emotional wellness, connection, and a positive learning atmosphere.
We believe that learning happens best when students feel connected, supported, and emotionally well. The Learning Connection is designed to help bridge that gap by creating a space where students can learn, grow, and reconnect in peace.
