How adorable is this 22-week baby sucking on his little fingers? 💙👶🫶

At around 22 weeks, babies are already practicing sucking, an important reflex that helps prepare them for feeding after birth. It's one of the sweetest moments we get to capture during an ultrasound!

At this stage, babies are still a bit on the skinny side because they haven't started putting on much body fat yet. Even so, 5D ultrasound technology allows us to see their beautiful little facial features and expressions.

After about 25 weeks, babies begin storing more fat beneath their skin, giving them those adorable chubby cheeks and a fuller, more newborn-like appearance. Watching their transformation throughout pregnancy is truly incredible!

Every stage is special, and every baby has their own unique personality already shining through. 💕

Look at this sweet 38-week baby cuddling her little foot! 🩷👣

Did you know babies are incredibly flexible before they're born? Their joints and muscles allow them to curl up into the coziest positions, even late in pregnancy. It's not uncommon to catch them snuggling their feet, hands, or even covering their little faces during an ultrasound!

Many parents think it's too late to get beautiful ultrasound images, but that's not always the case. With plenty of hydration and a cooperative little one, we can often capture amazing views of your baby's adorable features—even at 38 weeks!

Every baby is different, and every ultrasound is a unique glimpse into their personality before they arrive. 💕
