Introducing Eric Santos Vargas, RDCS, RCS, ECHO/Vascular Department Supervisor. With more than eight years of experience in echocardiography, Eric is a graduate of Houston International College and completed his clinical internship at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston. In his role, he is dedicated to further elevating the STHS Clinics Cardiology Sonography Programs and delivering the highest-quality imaging services for our cardiologists, physicians and patients.

Engaging Tomorrow’s Healthcare Leaders: South Texas Health System recently had the opportunity to connect with South Texas College nursing and allied health students enrolled in the Pathways for Advancing Careers and Education (PACE) program through the Valley Initiative for Development & Advancement (VIDA).

Students heard from members of the STHS Clinics team, who highlighted the wide range of healthcare services, providers and locations offered across the Rio Grande Valley, as well as STHS Clinics' commitment to delivering high-quality family medicine, preventive screenings and advanced specialty care.
