Sundays are for success stories at Embassy Manor. ❤️

Manjula came to Embassy Manor for short-term rehabilitation after a fall that resulted in pelvic fractures. At first she was unable to move without pain, but our therapy team worked diligently with her over time to reduce her pain and rebuild her strength. Today, Manjula returns home able to perform her self-care independently and to walk with a walker.

From unable to move without pain to walking again and heading home. This is the kind of steady, hard-earned progress our therapy team lives for. Congratulations, Manjula.

Another rehab success at Embassy Manor. ❤️

William came to Embassy Manor for short-term rehabilitation after hospitalization for a fall complicated by respiratory failure and metabolic encephalopathy. On arrival, he needed extensive assistance with every aspect of self-care and mobility, had decreased safety awareness, and was unable to attend to daily tasks. Through the dedication of our therapy team, William is now transitioning to an assisted living facility (ALF) with a stronger ability to participate in daily activities and a meaningful gain in both safety and independence.

Recovery is not always a straight line home, and progress like this, from extensive assistance to a safer, more independent daily life, is a real success worth celebrating. Congratulations, William!

Another rehab success at Embassy Manor!

Mr. Cecil came to Embassy Manor for short-term rehabilitation after a hospital stay for atrial fibrillation (AFib) management. When he arrived, he needed assistance with self-care and mobility. Through consistent work with our physical and occupational therapy team, he returned home independent with his self-care tasks and able to navigate stairs safely using a rollator.

This is what recovery looks like when a dedicated therapy team meets a patient ready to do the work. Congratulations, Mr. Cecil.
