Introducing our new Executive Director, Michele Rumsby RN, CALA to our Complete Care at Whispering Woods family!

Michele has been a nurse since 1994, beginning her career as a NICU/PICU nurse. Throughout her nursing career, she has gained experience in a variety of areas, including case management, wound care, long-term care supervision, school nursing, and hospice care.

For the past six years, Michele has worked as a Director of Nursing (DON) in assisted living, with the last two years spent at Complete Care at Holmdel. She truly enjoys working in assisted living and caring for both residents and their families. This is her first experience as an Executive Director (ED), and she is excited for the opportunity to grow in this role and serve the Whispering Woods community.

Michele lives in Atlantic Highlands with her husband, a retired police officer, and they have eight children together. Three of their kids are currently in college. Their eldest is a police officer in Lower Merion, Pennsylvania, while the youngest two are in middle and high school. In her spare time, Michele loves baking and enjoying beach days with her family. Family means everything to her, and she feels grateful to be part of the Whispering Woods family!
