It takes a village to raise a child and at Lakeview School, that village shows up every single day 💙💛

For our students, back-to-school means a little bit more. It means returning to a place where education, therapy, care, encouragement and connection all come together to help each student learn, grow and thrive.

At NJID, our Direct Support Professionals play an essential role in empowering the individuals we serve to live full and meaningful lives. Their impact reaches far beyond their daily responsibilities…they build relationships, create opportunities, and make better days possible.

On the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001, we pause to remember and honor the lives forever changed by that tragic day.

We remember those who were lost, honor the courage and selflessness of the first responders, and recognize the strength of the survivors, their families, and communities across our nation.

May we continue to carry forward the spirit of compassion, courage, and unity that brought us together in the days that followed.

🌱Lakeview LOVES visitors & this group was a 10/10!

A huge thank you to the team from Whole Foods Market Metuchen for spending a “Day of Caring” at Lakeview School! The group spent the morning tending to the Lakeview Garden alongside our students and even harvesting the fruits of their labor! 🍅🥕🌿

Our students had the best time exploring the garden, and working alongside such an amazing group of volunteers.
