People often ask what makes Scissortail Therapy Services different.

The truth is, it started with a dream.

When Scott and I envisioned Scissortail Therapy Services, we didn't want to create just another therapy clinic. We wanted to create a place where children could simply be kids. A place where laughter filled the gym, where therapy happened through meaningful play, and where children couldn't wait to come back.

We believed children learn best when they feel safe, connected, and genuinely enjoy what they're doing. That belief became the foundation of everything we built.

But we also knew something else was just as important.

We wanted a team that felt like family—a place where people loved coming to work because they knew they were making a difference. We wanted a culture built on kindness, respect, encouragement, and the shared belief that every child deserves to be seen for their abilities, not their limitations.

Today, when I walk through our doors, I see that dream becoming a reality.

I see therapists who celebrate every small victory. I see children who are excited to learn. I see families who trust us with what matters most. And I see a team that pours their hearts into this mission every single day.

Today we're celebrating someone who makes Scissortail Therapy Services better every single day—our fearless leader, Dr. Jasmine Justus! 🎉🎂💙

Jasmine is an incredible leader whose passion for children, families, and inclusive education shines through in everything she does. As a BCBA-D, educator, researcher, and advocate, she continually challenges us to grow, dream bigger, and provide the highest quality care to every child and family we serve.

But beyond her impressive credentials is the person we are so grateful to know. Jasmine is funny, kind, compassionate, and the type of leader who celebrates her team, steps in wherever she's needed, and leads with both strength and heart. She inspires us not only through her knowledge, but through the way she genuinely cares for the people around her.

Tomorrow, our longtime team member Alissa Thompson will watch her son Jay walk across the graduation stage, and our hearts could not be happier for them.

Alissa has spent so much of her time pouring into other families, encouraging children, supporting parents, and helping create a place where kids feel safe, understood, and celebrated. To now watch her experience this milestone as a proud mom feels incredibly special to all of us.
