There is always a touch of bittersweetness in postpartum visits🥹, but even more, they are overflowing with joy🥰. As I sit beside these mothers and listen to them recount their birth stories, I am reminded of the incredible courage that lives within women. I find myself bursting with pride as they reflect on the challenges they faced, the strength they found, and the beautiful way they persevered🙏🏼. Seeing these thriving mamas with their precious babies in their arms is a powerful reminder of all they have accomplished. It is an honor to bear witness to such resilience, love, and grace. Thank You, God, for the gift of this work and the privilege of walking alongside these remarkable women.😍🥹🙏🏼

The power of a mother's love is truly remarkable. It is deep. It is strong. And it begins long before a mother ever gazes into her baby's eyes.🥹

This sweet mama courageously faced challenge after challenge throughout her labor journey. Despite the difficulties, she pressed on with incredible strength, determination, and unwavering love for her baby. She labored tirelessly for days, remaining positive, focused, and committed every step of the way.💪🏼

As time went on, it became clear that both her body and her baby were growing weary. Out of love and selfless surrender, she embraced a different path than she had envisioned, welcoming her beautiful baby girl through a surgical birth.

And in that moment, after giving so much of herself, she was finally able to rest in the most perfect place: with her precious daughter resting on her chest. ❤️

A mother's love will move mountains, endure hardship, and willingly walk through the unexpected for the good of her child. This birth story is a beautiful testament to that kind of love.

Congratulations, you two! I am so incredibly happy for your family and so proud of the courage, strength, and selfless love you demonstrated as you welcomed your sweet little girl into the world.😍

💥Perseverance, strength, and trust.💥

These are just a few of the qualities that come to mind when I think of this mama and her birth journey.

She endured so much physical discomfort throughout this pregnancy, all while caring for their two little ones. With a history of long labors and extended pushing times, she approached this birth with determination, grace, and unwavering faith. 🙏🏼

God remained faithful. Her labor was shorter than her previous births, and she pushed for just 40 minutes instead of 2 hours! What a beautiful testament to her strength and perseverance. 🤩

The first of two babies born yesterday 💕

"God's Perfect Timing" was the overarching theme of this birth story!

This sweet mama had been planning and preparing to welcome her baby while her husband completed basic training and transitioned into his military position. But God had even greater plans because Daddy was able to be there for the birth! 🥹

At 41 weeks, she was scheduled for an induction. Once again, God's timing prevailed. 🙌🏼 She went into labor on her own and arrived at the hospital just one hour before her scheduled induction. Throughout labor, she remained calm and peaceful, fully trusting her body and knowing exactly what it needed.

Then, at 9 cm dilated, she had an overwhelming desire to JOG THE HALLS! And that's exactly what she did! 😍 Every single person who witnessed it was in complete awe of her strength and determination.

Shortly afterward, she delivered their beautiful 10-pound baby girl. 💕 What an incredible sight to behold!

I bore witness to the sugary sweet, ⚡️lightening fast⚡️worshipful welcoming of Sparrow Song Baby #647 last night!

This mama did an incredible job navigating a less than 3 hour labor and advocating, with help from her awesome husband, for her hands-off birth preferences! Daddy received his daughter into his hands alongside their OB who dashed in to make their birth and both grandmas made it in time to witness all the glorious goodness, one of them SHARING A BIRTHDAY with her newest grandbaby 🥳🥹😭 Certainly NOT a dry-eye situation, y’all
