Metcalfe Nursing & Rehabilitation We have 71 beds that are dually certified by Medicare and Medicaid and also provide Personal Care services to 13 beds.

Metcalfe Health Care Center, a not-for-profit provider of long-term care services in south central Kentucky, is a county owned facility that has been providing exceptional care since 1977. In addition to skilled nursing care, we also provide short term rehab as well as outpatient rehabilitation services. We employee approximately 100 persons who provide the best care possible to our residents. We

also have full-time in-house therapy staff to provide all your physical, occupational, and speech therapy needs. Our facility is a proud past recipient of the AHCA Bronze Quality Award. It is our mission to provide the highest quality care possible to those you love the most.

Our residents and staff were saddened by the passing of the legendary Dolly Parton. ❤️

Today, we honored sweet Dolly by holding signs inspired by some of her most famous songs and a few of our favorite lines that have brought smiles and memories through the years. 🎶✨

Her music, kindness, humor, and unmistakable spirit touched so many hearts, including ours here at Metcalfe Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Dolly may be gone, but her music and legacy will live on forever. As the song says, we will “always love Dolly.” ❤️🎤

Our residents at Metcalfe Nursing and Rehabilitation enjoyed a wonderful afternoon filled with beautiful piano music, fellowship, friendship, and plenty of smiles. 🎹🎶

We are so thankful for our community volunteers who take time out of their day to visit and share their talents with our residents. Your time and kindness mean more than you know, and you are always welcome here!

And of course, “When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder” is always a favorite. ❤️🎶

We had such a wonderful time setting up at the Metcalfe County Farmers Market on Friday! ❤️

We enjoyed handing out tote bags and bottles of water to our local community while visiting with old friends and making some new ones along the way. There’s nothing better than spending a beautiful morning connecting with the people who make our community so special.

We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful Farmers Market with great accommodations and an amazing variety of local vendors.
