The Short Box Side Bend isn’t about how far you can reach, it’s about how well you can support the movement from your center.
A common mistake is collapsing into the waist and shoulder to create a bigger bend. Instead, think of lifting up and out of your powerhouse, creating length through both sides of the body as you move through one smooth arc.
The goal is to maintain lift and control throughout the exercise, allowing the obliques and powerhouse to guide the movement rather than gravity.
Move with intention, not momentum. 🤍
