At 52 years old, our patient was struggling with debilitating low back and leg pain that was affecting nearly every aspect of his life. After undergoing a minimally invasive lumbar fusion, he is now just 2 months into recovery and doing exceptionally well.
When asked about his results, he shared:
“I feel like I got my life back. Before surgery, the pain controlled everything I did. At 52, I wasn’t ready to give up the activities I enjoy. Just two months later, I’m moving better, feeling stronger, and looking forward to doing things I haven’t been able to do in years.”
Minimally invasive lumbar fusion is designed to stabilize the spine while minimizing muscle disruption, often leading to less postoperative pain and a quicker recovery.
Stories like this remind us why we do what we do. We’re honored to help patients return to the activities and lifestyles they love.
