Greenbranch had the privilege of being a sponsor for the 2026 Stigma Free Networking Breakfast at Stockton University. During which Eric Nilson presented Rev. Lou and the volunteers of Church By The Bay with a Stigma Free Champion Award.

Rev. Lou Strugala is the founder and pastor of Church By The Bay in Galloway. He started Church By The Bay with a vision. A vision to start a church that would take God’s love outside the walls and into the community. He is a street pastor who engages in many activities to help those struggling, including providing thousands of meals to shut-ins, clothing for the homeless, and support throughout South Jersey and surrounding areas. Lou is also a chaplain for many local police departments, including the NJ State Police.

We are proud to honor Rev. Lou and to be involved with the Stigma Free Atlantic Collaborative! At Greenbranch Recovery & Wellness, we support their mission to reduce the stigma associated with mental health and substance use disorders!

This Memorial Day, Greenbranch honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Greenbranch is a drug and alcohol rehab with mental health treatment programs tailored to the specific concerns of visible and invisible wounds of battle. Veteran patients often grapple with unmitigated challenges underscored by time away from loved ones, the pressures of military service, military sexual trauma, chronic pain and, for many, a combat-related traumatic event that can all be contributing factors in the cycle of addiction.

If you or your loved one is struggling, call us at 609-622-5090 to speak with one of our trusted call center experts. Wishing everyone a safe and gratitude filled Memorial Day weekend!

Schizophrenia affects more than 1% of the US population. Approximately half of individuals with schizophrenia have co-occurring mental and/or behavioral health disorders. Research also reveals a concerning relationship between cannabis use and schizophrenia.

Today, at Greenbranch, we encourage clients and their families to learn the signs and symptoms of schizophrenia, understand how they impact lives, and discover how early help can make a big difference. We offer a range of outpatient addiction and mental health treatment services. This year, let us end the stigma, provide support and advocate for our loved ones with mental illness.

This is from Keith Johnson counselor and US Army veteran:

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the heroes whose seats at the table remain forever empty.

The missing place setting is more than a symbol — it is a reminder of the brave men and women who answered the call to serve and made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation, our freedoms, and our future. While families gather today, many carry the quiet weight of someone who never came home.

May we honor their courage, remember their sacrifice, and never forget the cost of freedom.

From all of us at Greenbranch, Firstbranch, and The Crossroads Companies, we extend our deepest gratitude to our fallen service members and the families who continue to carry their legacy.

🇺🇸 Gone, but never forgotten. 🇺🇸
