The curtain is coming down. The final act is over. And we are walking off the stage, into the light of our own soul. Before the breakthrough comes the breakdown. And that is exactly where we stand right now. On 20th August Venus, the planet of love, worth and how we value ourselves, peaks in Libra, the sign of harmony, balance and peace. It is asking us to look honestly at every relationship, every commitment, every unspoken agreement we made about how much of ourselves we are willing to give away. And for many of us, the answer arriving right now is devastating in its honesty.
We gave too much. For too long. To too many people who never once asked how we were doing. We stayed in the job that consumed us because leaving felt selfish. We kept showing up for the friend who only called when they needed something. We held together the family dynamic where everyone else's feelings were protected while we suffered in silence. We loved and our devotion was taken as a given. We said yes when everything in us was screaming no because disappointing ourselves felt easier than disappointing someone else.
We called all of it love. We called it being kind. We called it keeping the peace. And now we can see it all clearly for what it was. It was never peace. It was a betrayal of ourselves.
And Venus in Libra is putting an end to it right now. The mask is coming off. We are stepping off the stage of illusion and seeing everything for what it truly is. The friend you always made excuses for, you can suddenly see them clearly. The relationship you kept telling yourself would change, you finally know it will not. The family dynamic you held together for decades, you can no longer play your part in it. The people pleasing is over. The performance has ended. And what you see now with the mask removed cannot be unseen.
Many of us are sitting in a strange and tender space right now. A grief for a life that has not even fully ended yet. You may feel physically drained. Emotionally distant. Unable to pretend for a single second longer. The urge to withdraw from everything and everyone is overwhelming. Your soul is refusing to go back on stage for one more show. It is done. Completely and irreversibly done.
We are between two eclipses and the ground beneath us is still settling. This is not the time to force anything. Do not try to fix what is breaking. Do not chase what is walking away. Sit with the discomfort of not knowing because your soul is clearing out everything that cannot come where you are going. The over-explaining. The fixing. The smoothing over. The script you memorised to keep everyone comfortable. All of it is being stripped away. You cannot be at peace while performing peace for others. Harmony that costs you your authenticity is not harmony. It is a cage with a smile painted on the door. And you have just handed back the key.
Welcome the new you. You have stepped off the stage and into your own life. You speak without apology. You choose peace over obligation. You walk away from what no longer aligns without writing a ten-page explanation for why. The new version of you is not coming. It is already here. It arrived the moment you stopped performing. The stage is empty. The lights are off. And you are finally, beautifully, unapologetically free.
Speak this out loud: My peace is sacred. My energy is sacred. My truth is sacred. I give myself full permission to walk away from everything that asks me to be less than who I am. The old contract is cancelled. I am free.
