Sometimes circumstances make it difficult to attend a funeral or memorial service in person, but there are still meaningful ways to offer support and care from afar.

Don Layne Dufner

Don Layne Dufner, age 66, passed away June 7, 2026. He was born February 11, 1960 to the late Kennoth Dufner and Bernice Ventress Roe.

Don is survived by his daughter, Shelley Schilhab and husband Jeff; son, Timothy Dufner; nephew whom he raised, Dale Dufner Jr.; grandchildren, Siara Rizzo and husband Mike, Raylene Dufner, Kaylee Schilhab, and Timothy Dufner Jr. (TJ); great-granddaughter, Emerson Layne Rizzo; brother, Dwayne Roe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, Kennoth Dufner; mother, Bernice Roe; brother, Dale Dufner; and sister, Dana “Sissy” Sifuentes.

Family will receive visitors beginning at 11 am Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Wheeler Funeral Home. Memorial services celebrating the life of Don will begin at 12 noon.
