Twenty-five years later, we remember.

On Patriot Day, we honor the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, and remember the courage of the first responders, health care workers, military members and everyday Americans who stepped forward to help.

We remember the families who lost loved ones, those who continue to carry the effects of that day, and the spirit of compassion and unity that brought our nation together.

Today, we pause to remember, honor and never forget.

With Grandparents Day coming up this Sunday we had a special evening this evening for our resident “Grandparents” and their families — with homemade cobblers - cake - cake balls - and icy punch to chill the heat down a bit!! Paula Newman and Linda Brewer-Smith joined us for some music which everyone enjoys!! Thanks to all the grandparents out there that pour love into our lives!!
