Backpack Fundraiser

Our Community Springs Healthcare Facility employees and "family" have organized a Back -to- School Backpack Fundraiser to assist a fellow employee of ours.

Tickets are available for three categories of backpacks - grades Pre-K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
ANYONE can purchase tickets!!!
Tickets - $1 each or 6 for $5.00- may be purchased August 5-20 at the front Desk or through the Activities Department hours 7a.m.- 4 p.m.

Winners announced Friday, August 21- 12 noon.
All backpacks and supplies have been donated - therefore all proceeds go fully to the recipient.

Today, the El Dorado Springs Municipal Band came to perform for the residents. This is a yearly tradition that the residents truly enjoy. Thank you for coming out again this year.

CMH Rehab Success Story
Michelle Zitting from El Dorado Springs, Missouri.

Michelle chose Community Springs Healthcare Facility because they are close to home.

She completed a week and a half of physical and occupational therapy as she works on strengthening and balance.

When asked if she would like to recognize anyone, she said, " Gabby and Tammy and all of the therapists were amazing to work with.
She also commented that all the therapists who worked with her were very patient; they didn't push too hard and let her go at a pace she was comfortable with. She stated she's so grateful to have been able to do all her therapy here.

We sure enjoyed the music of Randy Polson and Keith BonElling today - and want to say “Thank you” to them for being so gracious in donating their time and talents as we get in the “Picnic Spirit” - lots of toe-tapping and joining in on the songs!! So - now we’re ready for Corndogs - and that’s tomorrow!!
