We Are Hiring! Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN

Matrix Hospice is seeking an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team on a PRN basis. If you are passionate about providing high-quality, dignified end-of-life care and value flexibility, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient care visits on an as-needed basis.
- Participate in a manageable on-call rotation schedule.
- Participate in Continuous Care shifts
- Collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary care team.

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proven experience in hospice or palliative care nursing.

The Power of Storytelling: Sharing Memories with Your Loved One 🤍

When a loved one is in hospice care, finding ways to connect can sometimes feel challenging. One of the most beautiful gifts we can offer them—and ourselves—is the space to share stories and look back on a life well-lived.

You don't need a grand plan to start a meaningful conversation. Here are a few gentle prompts to try during your next visit:
"What is your favorite childhood memory from the summertime?"
"Tell me about the first car you ever owned or your favorite trip."
"What is a piece of advice you’ve always held onto?"

If your loved one is resting or unable to speak, simply reading a favorite book aloud, playing music from their youth, or looking through an old photo album together can bring immense comfort and a deep sense of peace.
