The safety of our community and our team is of the utmost importance, and requires additional consideration inlight of recent developments and public health considerations for COVID-19.

In response to the Coronavirus global pandemic we will implement the following guidelines effective immediately. Please note that these actions and protocols may be changed or modified without notice, in the interest of keeping our patients and team as safe as possible as we navigate the next few weeks:
- We will be rescheduling non-essential treatment and we will remain open, with modified hours from 10 am - 2 pm to see patients for emergency dental treatment, which can include pain, swelling, etc. Please call for an appointment.
- Patients will be screened via text message/phone prior to their arrival. Please inform us if you, your child, or any family member is experiencing any fever, cough, or difficulty breathing PRIOR to your appointment. Please inform us of any recent travel outside the US or within the US.
- We kindly ask that you use the hand sanitizer we have provided upon arrival.
- Any patient deemed at high risk will not be allowed into our clinical areas, and directed to the appropriate level of care as set forth by the department of health.
- Patients will be taken directly into the dental chair as soon as one is available. Waiting area will be limited to a few people at a time. We may ask that you remain in your vehicle. We will call you as soon as a room is clean and ready for you.
- Patients with symptoms will kindly be asked to reschedule for 3 weeks later or earlier with MD clearance
- Please note we will be limiting social distance, including handshaking, as a means of decreasing possible transmission of Covid-19.
- Please limit the number of children and adults accompanying the patient being seen
- Please note that in line with our normal office policy, no staff will be allowed to come in sick and we will be disinfecting/sanitizing rooms and sterilizing instruments after each patient.

Sincerely,
Dr. Krystelle Anaya, Dr. Lianna Zabanal, Dr. Rosson and the whole Trawood Family Dental Team

To Our Patients and Their Families,

At Trawood Family Dental our number one priority has always been the health and safety of our patients. Often in times of uncertainty, there can be a wealth of misinformation spread, especially in today’s digital age. As a leading healthcare authority in our community, we wanted to reach out to all of our patients regarding the COVID-19 virus, and to let you know the steps we are taking to alleviate any potential concerns.
According to the CDC, the immediate risk of being exposed to this virus is still low for most Americans. We recommend all of our patients to wash their hands frequently, avoid close contact with people who are sick, and stay home if you aren’t feeling well.
We follow strict cleaning policies for the protection of both our staff and our patients. Each staff member maintains rigorous personal hygiene standards. We use hospital-grade disinfectants across the entire office, with extensive room cleaning after each patient to ensure a safe and clean environment. After each use, all dental instruments receive the highest level of medical sterilization available. These processes have always been of utmost importance in our office and will continue to be the standards we uphold for our community.
In addition, to protect our patients and staff we will:
- Ask patients to perform a 30 second antimicrobial mouth rinse prior to any treatment to greatly reduce oral pathogens
- Team members will be sent home if they are not feeling well or have a fever
- Ask patients that have traveled internationally in the last 14 days to please reschedule their appointments
- Ask patients currently experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness or that have had a fever in the last 48 hours to reschedule
Please rest assured that we are following local and national updates daily and will continue to maintain the highest level of safety and patient care that you have come to expect. If you have any questions regarding your future appointments, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We will be posting additional updates through Facebook to keep our community and patients abreast of the latest updates regarding the current health situation.
Again, thank you for being a valued patient with us. We appreciate your continued trust and confidence. We look forward to taking care of you at your next scheduled appointment.

Sincerely,

Krystelle Anaya, DDS
Lianna Zabanal, DDS
Robert Rosson, DDS

There’s still time to bring by more donations to enter a raffle for one of two Oral-b tooth brushes. We are asking for personal care items such as shampoo, conditioner, feminine hygiene products, etc. Feel free to call and get a full list of items that are needed.

Thank you to Trawood Family Dental for choosing Villa Maria as the recipient for their Christmas donation drive! In just 5 days, Trawood’s clients brought enough to fill an SUV—and that isn’t all of it!
