We also treat those with arthritis, swallowing difficulties, generalized weakness, Parkinson's disease, an

d many, many more diagnoses. Giles also provides comfortable long term care for those who can no longer live at home. Mr. Salcido came to our facility after a stroke with right-sided weakness and cognitive deficits. Although he was initially resistant to therapy, his hard work and determination have led to great progress.Today, he is walking 50–60 feet with a front-wheeled walker, requiring less assistance and fewer cues. On his birthday, we're proud to celebrate both him and his incredible progress as our Success Story of the Week!

Manuela Hernández (Manuelita) has been with us for some time and has demonstrated steady improvement in functional transfers, ambulation, and functional endurance. Her greatest challenge continues to be sit-to-stand transfers and maintaining standing balance. Current interventions focus on improving trunk strength, postural control, and standing tolerance. Manuelita is hardworking, consistently attends therapy without prompting, and remains highly motivated to achieve her goals. We look forward to seeing her continued progress.
