As the year comes to a close, I’ve realized so many things about myself & my body. The greatest realization is that I still have full control of what I put in my body & what I do to maintain a healthy weight (even in the times of a damn pandemic). The gyms are closed, certain foods aren’t anywhere to be found on store shelves & it’s been extremely easy to lose sight of my aspirations. It seems as though all my days have run together & my priorities have changed. Nonetheless, the obstacles placed before me are few & far between.
-so-
Today, I celebrate my post-baby body, my inner peace, my joy & my achievements. It’s easy to look at failures & shortcomings, but it’s only important to do so if they act as fuel for reaching future goals.
For 2021, I challenge everyone to accept their flaws, to use their shortcomings as opportunities for growth, & to maintain a positive outlook on their journeys to success—whatever that may be.
Here’s to a continued commitment to greatness & an end to stagnant laundry days. 😂 😂
(In case you didn’t notice, my home gym has been overrun by clean laundry that just never seems to end up back in its proper place).
May your 2020 end on a positive note as 2021 brings you new opportunities for personal growth & greatness.
