I don’t like to mix my personal life with my professional life, but this race is too important for me not to. My husband is Sheriff Anthony Lowery. He was appointed sheriff by the governor in 2024 when Hoss Mack retired. He and his opponent were both vetted by the governor’s office and he was selected based on his experience and proven leadership. He has worked for the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office for 20 years. And prior to that, he worked at the district attorney’s office for 10 years. He is a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy. He was recently awarded the Heroes of the Gulf Coast Award for their role in getting the kidnapped girl back from Mexico. I see how dedicated he is to our community, but also to all the employees he leads. They don’t want a change and neither should you. I humbly ask for your vote May 19.
