Update # ?? To many ðŸĪŠ

I had my treatment on Friday and the gave me some new anti-nausea meds. That helped so much!! Now, I have slept for 2 days but that just comes with the treatments. I am a little tired still but I am forever grateful the nausea wasn't here. I can deal with a lot but the nausea sucks!!

I know a few people asked if I was doing ok because I seemed down in the last couple of post. I thought and thought about it and realized after 14 weeks off of treatments I was feeling almost normal. Then had to start over again with a new med and new side effects. It took me a couple of weeks to pray, wrestle with my feels and then get back into fight mode. Before I was mentally and mostly physically, lol, prepared for whatever rolled my way. Starting back took a toll but I'm back in the game! Had my attitude adjustment and all. Lol. Pray for Randy!!

Also, I had to whine and cry a little about not being able to be in the sun. My favorite thing in the summer is to swim and be in the water. Stupid side effects. Lol. Have to find a place to night swim.

Thanks again for all the prayers and love!!

Update #21

I'm a little behind on posting but....

New immunotherapy drug treatment #1 happened yesterday. It has a few more side effects but everything is settling down. I have slept for about 24 hours and the nausea is no joke. Had to break down and take some meds, here comes the dizziness and high. Lol 😆.

I maybe tired, feel a little down sometimes but I will never give up!!! I know that God is here with me on this cancer journey and he's got me!!

Everytime things change, I just have to laugh and say buckle up we are making another u- turn.

Thank you all for the prayers, love and support!!

Update #20

Please keep the prayers coming.

I met with the oncologist on Friday. The cancer is greatly decreased but still there. So, the new plan is that we are going to try a different type of immunotherapy and see if I don't react with a rash this time. With the Lynch syndrome, I still don't have to do the hard chemo. Thank the lord!!

Back to treatment every 3 weeks.

I have tried to keep a positive attitude and mindset but I have had some bad days. I get mentally fatigued, and even though the pain has decreased so much, I still get nerve pain. I really have way more good days than bad. I am so blessed in so many ways thru this cancer journey.

I had a patient say "You got to see how great the people of Elberton are."
- It is so true, I have been blessed by so many people, friends, family, patients and strangers.

Thank you all for caring, the support, patience and Love!!

Update #19

Met with the surgeon and he said that the tissue is healing and with a couple morrle treatments he thinks it will be 100% healed and healthy tissue. So no surgery!! Thank you Lord!!

A little longer on this cancer journey and then I want off this roller coster. Lol.

So I meet with the oncologist on May 8th and get the new plan!

Thank you all again for going along this journey with me.

Update #18

It's been a minute since I posted. We are on our way to Athens for my scope.(way to early ðŸĪŠ) This way we can see inside and make sure all the cancer is gone. I meet back with the surgeon on Thursday to go over MRI and scope/biopsy results!

I am about 80 to 90 percent back with my energy and work. I am working really hard to get back 100%! Sometimes I over do it and then have to remember I am still healing and my body let's me know! Lol

Thank you all for the prayers, continued prayers, love and support you have shown me and Randy Suttles. I am forever grateful.

Update #17

Where do I begin??!!
I am so overwhelmed and over joyed.

I met with the Oncologist today for my results of the scan and the new plan.

He said that my scan was clear. No evidence of the cancer at all!!! Praise Jesus and God is great!!! I think I am still in shock, I knew God had me and all the prayers you all have been saying!! 💗💗

I will have to go for a scope and then because I have a gene mutation (which explains why I've had cancer twice in my 40's) he would like to do the immunotherapy for a year if my body will cooperate, darn rash. Lol. I will see him in a month and we will go from there. I still have a month of steroids but so much less than before. I am in awe of how great my God is and the miracle he worked.

Thank you all for your continued prayers and support!!!💗💗💗

Update #16

God is good!!
The prayers and steroids worked! The rash is much better! I get to step down to a lower dose! Maybe I'll be able to sleep ðŸ˜ī lol. I get rescanned next Friday and then we will make a plan on Tuesday the 10th! Thank you all for the love, prayers and support from family and friends. I know I wouldn't make it thru all of this without it. 💗💗

Update #15

Slight set back - Need those prayers!!
Well I was supposed to go for my 4th treatment today but I have this rash from the immunotherapy drugs. They had to put the treatment on hold and I have to take some high dose steroids. Here's to not sleeping for the next week. Lol.

The emotional roller-coaster that is cancer is no fun. The second you think you know what's happening, it changes.

I had a moment of break down and then I thought. God has this and his plan is the right one. Plan's change, just keep your head up!

Update # 14

I had my immunotherapy treatment on Tuesday and met with the oncologist. They said I can try to go back to work part time! So I am going to try next week!! I will have to take off the weeks I have treatment because it wears me out! I can't say enough thank you's for all the prayers and the support. I have felt so loved. I still need the prayers because this is going to be a long journey. I go March 6th to get my bext PETScan. That will let us know how the treatments are working!!

We will be calling and getting everyone scheduled or pick up on your schedule already made. Please be patient with us!

Love you all
