🩺World Hepatitis Day🩺

It's World Hepatitis Day, and we are helping to raise awareness about viral hepatitis. That's an inflammation of the liver that causes severe complications. There are five main strains of the hepatitis virus: A, B, C, D and E. Hepatitis B and C make up the most common infections - resulting in more than 1 million deaths each year. Getting tested is the only way to know if you have hepatitis, and vaccines are available for hepatitis A and B.

What are the characteristics of hepatitis? Well, the symptoms vary, but here are some common signs:

❤️‍🩹Pale or clay-colored stools
❤️‍🩹Jaundice
❤️‍🩹Fatigue
❤️‍🩹Loss of appetite
❤️‍🩹Nausea or vomiting
❤️‍🩹Abdominal pain
