💊 Prescription Delivery Made Easy! 💊

Schleicher County Medical Center and Schleicher County Family Clinic with Schleicher County Hospital District are pleased to partner with Kimble Pharmacy to make getting your medications more convenient.

Prescriptions from any physician, anywhere can be filled through Kimble Pharmacy and delivered directly to the Schleicher County Family Clinic at no charge. Deliveries are available Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

If your prescription is received and payment is completed by 5:00 p.m., it will be delivered to the clinic the next business day, typically by 3:00 p.m., and will be ready for pickup.

This free service is designed to make accessing your medications easier while saving you an extra trip.

Happy 250th Independence Day from all of us at Schleicher County Medical Center!

Today we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy, the strength of our community, and the neighbors who make Schleicher County such a special place to call home.

As you gather with family and friends, we encourage everyone to celebrate safely. Stay hydrated, practice firework safety, and look out for one another so everyone can enjoy a happy and healthy holiday.

While many are celebrating, our Emergency Room is always open, and our dedicated team is always here ready to provide care whenever it is needed. We are honored to serve this community every day of the year.

Yesterday, we celebrated 34 wonderful years of service by Billie Mendoza. We are so grateful for all the years of dedication, hard work, fun and all that goes into a career of selfless service to our community. Thank you to all who attended to wish her well, but if you missed the party, she will be working PRN (as needed) for a while as well so you might see here still. Please give her good wishes on this new chapter of life if you run into her. Thank you Billie Mendoza for a job well done.

Today we celebrate the retirement of Billie Mendoza, LVN, after 34 years of dedicated service to Schleicher County Medical Center and the community we are privileged to serve.

For more than three decades, Billie has cared for our patients with compassion, kindness, and unwavering dedication. Her commitment to providing exceptional care and the genuine love she has shown our patients, coworkers, and community have left a lasting impact on all of us.

To say she will be missed is truly an understatement. While we are sad to see her retire, we are incredibly grateful for her years of service and wish her nothing but happiness and good health in this exciting new chapter.

Please join us for a Come-and-Go Retirement Celebration today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Hospital Lobby as we thank Billie for 34 wonderful years and wish her all the best in her retirement!
