Last week we featured our Kitten Yoga event, but we know not everyone is a cat person! That’s why we partner with NAMI Pasco to bring to the community too. Last Saturday, another group came out for an all-levels yoga flow taught by Guava-Rose, joined by some adorable service pups.

Missed out? We’ll be bringing back both Kitten Yoga and Puppy Yoga this fall, so stay tuned to our events page on Facebook and our website for upcoming dates and details.

Another Puppy Yoga event complete. 🐶

Somewhere between downward dog and “please stop chewing my shoelace,” a great time was had by all. 😂

We’re so grateful for amazing community partners like Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources and Guava-Rose, who help make these events feel welcoming, joyful, and just the right amount of chaotic thanks to tiny puppies with absolutely no respect for yoga poses.

Thank you to everyone who came out, stretched, laughed, cuddled puppies, and helped create such a fun community atmosphere. We love bringing wellness and connection together in ways that make people smile. 💚

What a journey this has been...

Wednesday, we officially reopened the Sasquatch Wellness Trail, and we just want to say thank you. Thank you to every single person who came out, walked with us, supported the vision, shared encouragement, hauled supplies, survived meetings, moved signs, believed in the project, and kept showing up even when hurricanes and obstacles tried very hard to say “absolutely not.”

A huge thank you as well to both our longtime sponsors and our new sponsors. Your support helps us continue creating spaces and programs that remind people they are not alone and that mental wellness can look like community, movement, laughter, sunlight, and connection.

This trail has always been about more than hiking. It has been about creating a place where people can breathe a little easier.

Seeing the community back out on the trail meant the world to us.

Tomorrow’s the day 🌿👣

It’s been a long road getting the Sasquatch Wellness Trail back open, but we are excited to finally welcome the community back out tomorrow for the soft reopening at Jay B Starkey Wilderness Park.

There’s been a lot of work behind the scenes to refresh and expand the trail experience, including updated signage, trail improvements, and expanded spaces designed to encourage movement, mindfulness, connection, and time outdoors.

Mental health care does not always happen inside four walls. Sometimes it looks like sunlight through trees, conversations during a walk, deep breaths on a quiet trail, or simply remembering you’re still connected to the world around you.

We’re incredibly grateful to Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources, our community partners, volunteers, and supporters who helped bring this project back to life 💚
