All ready for tomorrow’s ILAA fall mini conference. Spending the day with audiologists at U of I discussing new technology and how Auracast alongside hearing loops will help hearing aid users get more out enjoying public events.

T minus 2 days until the Chicago Walk4Hearing. Come by and see us! If you haven't tried Auracast yet, we have several opportunities at the walk. Steve and Megan will be there loaning out receivers to listen in on the pre-walk announcements and kick-off.

If you borrow a receiver, Steve and Megan will be stationed near the walk tunnel entrance to return them before getting on your way!

Thunder Hearing & Sound is a proud sponsor of the Chicago Walk4Hearing on 9/20. If you are attending we will be providing Auracast for the walk kickoff speeches. We will also have portable hearing loops, an Auracast station and a caption tablet at the registration areas to offer better accessibility.

Stop by our booth near the registration table, check out an Auracast receiver or learn how to connect if you have an Auracast “enabled” hearing device. Other ways to connect include through the use of an accessory device if it has a 3.5 mm jack on it, just be sure to bring a cable.

It’s conference prep/packing day! Our team is getting ready to provide hearing access to hearing care professionals at next week’s IHS International Hearing Society Conference in Arlington Virginia. Auracast will be available for the workshops and general sessions throughout the conference. If you haven’t tried it yet in a live venue, we hope you will stop by to learn the options to connect and give it a try!

Following ADA accessibility is important for the hard of hearing. While hearing loss may be an invisible disability, facilities need to take accountability and provide the required access to everyone. This law suit is a step in the right direction.
