While traveling, we came across a beautiful tribute made by a daughter for her father in a local park. It was a poem written in sidewalk chalk listing all the times she remembers him throughout her daily life.

Grief and remembrance look different in every culture, and learning about those traditions can be a meaningful part of the healing journey. ❤️ Our friends at the Gail Borden Public Library are hosting Roots & Remembrance, a bilingual sip-and-paint event exploring the significance of the Cempasúchil (marigold) flower in Día de los Mu***os traditions. Participants will paint a flowerpot, enjoy mocktail micheladas, and take home their own marigold plant.
