🍂❤️ Helping Our Community, One Basket at a Time! ❤️🍂

At Elizabeth Care Center, we believe that one of the greatest gifts we can give is the gift of kindness and helping others. ❤️

This holiday season, we are hosting a Food Drive, and we would love for our wonderful community to help us spread a little love and blessings to families in need. 🧺❤️

Our goal is to put together a special food basket for each of our preachers and their churches, so they can bless a family in need within their congregation. We also plan to prepare a basket for each of our three local schools, allowing them to bless a family who could use a little extra help this holiday season.

Sometimes it’s the smallest acts of kindness that make the biggest difference. No family should have to worry about putting food on their table, especially during the holidays. ❤️

🥫 Any donation, big or small, would be greatly appreciated! Non-perishable food items can be dropped off at Elizabeth Care Center.

We are so thankful to be part of a community that always comes together when there’s a need. Together, we can fill more than just food baskets — we can fill hearts with hope, love, and the reminder that someone cares. ❤️

💕 Handmade with Love, Given from the Heart! 💕

A very special and heartfelt THANK YOU to Inge Och Beasley for taking the time to handmake these beautiful headbands, toboggans, and adorable chickens for our residents! 🧶🐔❤️

There is something so special about a handmade gift. Every stitch represents time, love, and kindness, and knowing someone cared enough to make something just for our residents makes these gifts even more precious. 🥹💕

Inge, your thoughtfulness and generosity mean more than words can express. It’s wonderful people like you who remind us that even the simplest acts of kindness can bring so much joy.

🍁🌳 A Little Fall Creativity This Afternoon! 🍂🧡

Our residents spent the afternoon creating beautiful Fall Button Trees! 🎨🍁 With colorful buttons, a little glue, and lots of creativity, each tree turned into its own beautiful work of art!

Just like the changing leaves outside, no two trees were exactly alike, and that’s what made them so special! ❤️

We love watching our residents take pride in their creations while enjoying laughter, conversations, and time spent together. Sometimes it’s the simplest little activities that create the sweetest memories! 🥰🍂

🍁🌻 Scarecrows, Smiles & a Little Fall Fun! 🌻🍁

Our residents spent their morning getting crafty making the cutest little Popsicle Stick Scarecrows! 🧡🎨 With a little paint, some creativity, and lots of laughter, these adorable scarecrows came to life!

There’s just something special about watching our residents enjoy the simple little things, sharing smiles, conversations, and making sweet memories along the way. 🍂❤️

❤️ A Beautiful Act of Kindness and Faith! ✝️❤️

Sometimes the simplest gifts carry the greatest meaning. ❤️

Today, we were blessed by a visit from a wonderful couple, Randy and Betty, who have made it their mission to spread love, kindness, and faith, one wooden cross at a time. ❤️

Using wood from trees on their very own farm, they lovingly whittle beautiful crosses by hand. They brought enough to make sure every single one of our residents received one! 🥹❤️

What makes their story even more special is that they have already visited over 100 nursing homes across West Virginia, sharing these precious gifts with residents along the way.

Just imagine the number of hearts they have touched! ❤️

Randy and Betty, thank you for taking the time to remind our residents that they are loved, remembered, and thought of. Your kindness is a beautiful reminder that it doesn’t take something big to make a difference in someone’s life.

May God bless you both as you continue spreading His love, one handmade cross and one precious heart at a time. ✝️❤️

❤️ It’s the little moments that mean the most… ❤️

Sometimes the most beautiful moments at Elizabeth Care Center are the ones that happen quietly, behind the scenes. The moments that aren’t planned, aren’t on an activity calendar, and don’t need anything fancy to make them special. 🥹❤️

💕 A Care Partner taking time out of her day off to bring her sweet baby girl in for our residents to love on and enjoy.

🙏 A precious resident who loves joining us for our morning meetings, bowing her head and praying right alongside our Team as we end our meeting in prayer.

❤️ And a Care Partner simply sitting beside a resident, holding her hand and sharing a quiet, peaceful moment while she enjoys her breakfast.

These moments may seem small to some, but to us, they are EVERYTHING. ❤️

This is what makes Elizabeth Care Center so special. It’s not just about the care we provide, but the relationships we build, the love we share, and the little moments that remind our residents they are family.

Because sometimes the most meaningful things we do aren’t part of our job description… they simply come from the heart. 🥹❤️

And THAT is what makes our ECC family so special. ❤️🏡

🦉🍁 Guess what our residents wanted to do AGAIN today?! 😁🧡

You guessed it… SOCK OWLS IT IS!! 🦉🧦😂

Apparently, one little owl just wasn’t enough! Our residents had so much fun making their adorable Sock Owls the other day that they decided they wanted to make some more! 🥰

And around here, when our residents find something they love doing, you better believe we’re going to do it again! ❤️

More socks, more creativity, more laughter, and most importantly, more happy hearts! 🧡🍂

Whoooo are we to say no to a little more owl-making fun?! 🦉😂❤️
