Last night, our President and CEO, Dr. Nancy DiLiegro, accepted the Founders Award for Community Investment at The Elizabeth Coalition to House the Homeless Gala on behalf of the Trinitas and RWJBarnabas Health team. Congratulations to all of the inspiring honorees recognized for their incredible impact!

This award honors our collaborative Winter Response Initiative. Faced with a brutal winter, our dedicated frontline teams worked tirelessly to divert unhoused neighbors from the Emergency Department into warm shelter while helping them secure health insurance, reclaim vital identity documents, and transition into permanent housing. This life-saving work reduced hospital strain and proved that housing is healthcare. Our mission now continues as we carry this momentum forward to launch our Summer Response Initiative and cooling shelter program in the coming weeks.

Thank you to The Elizabeth Coalition for an incredible event, and thank you to our healthcare heroes!
