THANK YOU to everyone who joined us last week for our free Resume Review Clinic & Workshop. We’d like to especially thank our partners at Columbia Bank New Jersey for helping us put this event on.

You needed to be in the room. ⚽️

Our Game On! Sports, Business & Leadership Summit brought together leaders from business, government, sports, education, and the nonprofit sector to explore how one of the world’s biggest sporting events can create lasting economic opportunity throughout New Jersey.

We were honored to welcome New Jersey Lieutenant Governor Dr. Dale Caldwell and NJEDA’s Chief Community Development Officer Tai Cooper, alongside an outstanding lineup of panelists, moderators, and industry leaders who shared their expertise on leadership, entrepreneurship, athlete branding, workforce development, and the future of sports.

Once again, to our sponsors, partners, speakers, moderators, vendors, volunteers, planning committee, and every attendee who joined the conversation, thank you. Your commitment helped transform this event into a meaningful exchange of ideas and a catalyst for future collaboration.

We are also grateful to every organization and individual who helped make the Game On! initiative possible, and to everyone who continues to believe in the power of sport to unite communities and create opportunity.

Together, we’ve laid the foundation for a lasting legacy that extends well beyond the final whistle.

highlights the reality behind the numbers: Black women must work into the following year to earn what non-Hispanic white men earned the year before.

With Black women earning approximately 65 cents on the dollar in full-time, year-round positions, and about 63 cents when all workers are included, the wage gap continues to impact economic security, wealth building, and opportunities for future generations.

We support The National Urban League's call to action to urge Congress and policymakers to fight wage discrimination and help close the racial and gender pay gap by passing legislation to ensure every woman's right to equal pay for equal work. It is time to create systems that promote equal pay, accountability, and opportunity.

Join us in helping spread the word.
