💆‍♀️ Let's talk about everyone's favorite topic... cancellation policies. (I know, I know... try to contain your excitement. 😅)

Truthfully, these conversations are awkward. We don't enjoy having them any more than anyone enjoys hearing them.

Life happens. Emergencies happen. Kids get sick. Cars break down. We always try to extend grace whenever we reasonably can, because we know we're all human.

But here's the tricky part...

Almost every situation feels like it should be "the exception." And if every exception became an exception, there wouldn't really be a policy anymore.

Our cancellation policy isn't there because we enjoy collecting fees (trust me, we don't). It's there because when we reserve time for an appointment, we're also reserving a portion of our family's income. That time can't always be filled at the last minute.

If a cancellation or no-show fee is owed, asking for it is honestly one of our least favorite things. Paying it isn't about punishment—it's about respecting the time that was reserved and honoring the policy that helps keep this small business running.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us. Please know our policies aren't meant to be unkind—they're meant to be fair. ❤️

Kneaded Touch Massage & Bodywork is currently hiring a licensed Tennessee massage therapist to join our little wellness family.

Experience? Great.
Fresh out of school? Also great.
A kind heart, good work ethic, and the ability to match our vibe? Absolutely required. 💆‍♀️✨

What we offer:
🌿 65(therapist)/35(house) commission split (with a 90-day reassessment for potential increase)
🌿 All equipment and supplies provided
🌿 A cozy, supportive environment where you can focus on what you do best—helping people feel better

But here's what makes us different:

The clients you build relationships with are YOUR clients. If you develop specialty services or unique offerings, you're encouraged to grow your own brand and set your own pricing for those services.

A gentle reminder from your massage therapist 🤍

Even as more people explore holistic and natural approaches to wellness, it’s important to remember:

Not every treatment is right for every body.

No matter how convincing someone sounds, how impressive the title is, or how popular a method may be—you deserve to understand what’s being suggested for you and why.

Ask questions.
Do your own research.
Listen to your intuition.

Your body is not a trend, a sales opportunity, or a one-size-fits-all project.

You have the right to say:

* “I need more information.”
* “I’m not comfortable with that.”
* “I’d like to think about it.”

And if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

True wellness supports YOUR body, YOUR needs, and YOUR comfort — not someone else’s agenda.

✨One Year Already… and My Heart is Full✨

Today marks one year since this dream became real. What started as a hope to create a space where I could truly help others—without sacrificing myself in the process—has grown into something more beautiful than I ever imagined. Every client, every encouraging word, every referral, every moment on my table has helped shape Kneaded Touch into what it is today. I am deeply, genuinely grateful for each of you who trusted me with your care and supported this little business from the very beginning.

As we step into year two, there are a few updates to share:
Beginning June 1st, services will increase by $5. This small adjustment helps offset rising costs and allows me to continue providing the level of care, time, and attention each session deserves. I’m committed to keeping Kneaded Touch a place where quality never has to be rushed or compromised.

The most exciting news…Kneaded Touch is expanding! This next chapter is about creating an even more intentional space dedicated to healing for our community. With this expansion, I’m thrilled to welcome Nicole Charles of Wellness by Nicole to Kneaded Touch. Nicole brings a wealth of experience, a calming presence, and a shared passion for helping others feel their best. We anticipate to move to our new suite very soon, and will keep everyone posted.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Year one was incredible — and the best is still ahead. 💚
