Why it’s worth doing:
🔹 Strengthens the quadriceps, glutes, and hip muscles
🔹 Builds ankle and knee stability
🔹 Maintains the functional strength behind everyday squatting, sitting, and standing
Try this:
Bend your knees as if sitting into a chair. Keep weight in your heels. Reach your arms overhead while keeping your ribs stacked over your hips (not flared open). Hold for a count of 5, and repeat.
This is what functional yoga looks like — building real-world strength, one pose at a time.
