Masonic Village’s mission extends to neighboring communities and individuals of all ages.

In 2025, Masonic Village at Elizabethtown helped provide charitable care and services worth a combined $45.9 million across the state and gave back to the Elizabethtown community through scholarships for volunteers, hosting students for internships and clinicals, and monetary and service donations. Among our efforts, we donated laundry services and food for ECHOS, raised $12,500 for Relay for Life of Lancaster and $12,792 for the Alzheimer's Association and teamed up with Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 to offer real-world experience for students in the Work Immersion Program. Residents also contributed a box truck load of food to the Community Cupboard of Elizabethtown.

Volunteer responsibilities include visiting with residents, escorting them to appointments, and assisting with recreational activities, music therapy and special events like picnics and summer socials. Masonic Village at Elizabethtown is hiring an aquatic wellness specialist to work on programming for the community's indoor and outdoor pools.

Candidates must have experience leading or prescribing land and water exercise for individuals and groups of all ages, and in designing fitness programs for adults age 55+, including special populations (ex: post-cardiac rehabilitation, stroke, Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease, etc.).

Required certifications: CPR, AED and First Aid.

A bachelor's degree in a health or fitness-related field, AFAA, NETA, ACSM Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer or Exercise Physiologist or equivalent and/or lifeguard certification are preferred.

Youth from the Masonic Children’s Home of Pennsylvania enjoyed a mid-week pick-me-up thanks to the Masonic Village Shrine Club at their 4th Annual Pizza Party. The kids dined on pizza, soda and cookies, and thanks to the Zembo Shrine Clowns, learned the art of creating with balloons!

Masonic Village is hiring electricians to work full-time day shifts (7 a.m. - 3 p.m.) on our buildings and grounds. This is an onsite role and does not require any travel.

Compensation depends on candidate experience, with a range from $25.72/hr to $34.99/hr.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least six years of work experience as an electrician and a valid Pennsylvania driver's license. Vocational or technical school training in electrical maintenance and/or high voltage distribution is desired, but not required.
