✨ Provider Spotlight: Dr. Everetta “Evie” Davis ✨

Please join us in recognizing Dr. Everetta (Evie) Davis in our Breckinridge County school-based therapy program! Evie is a Clinical Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults, helping individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, ADHD, autism, relationship concerns, and major life transitions.

Evie takes a practical, supportive, and individualized approach to therapy. She utilizes evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and person-centered therapy to help clients build on their strengths and develop meaningful tools for everyday life. She believes therapy is most effective when clients feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely heard.

She has experience working with a wide range of populations, including children, families, military members, veterans, and individuals with neurodevelopmental differences. In addition to therapy services, Dr. Davis also has training and experience in psychological assessment and diagnosis.

Outside of work, Evie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and continuing to learn and grow both personally and professionally.

Meet Lori Plum, our Lead Targeted Case Manager at Astra Behavioral Health’s Bardstown office!

Lori has been part of the Astra family for seven years and brings more than 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field across both Kentucky and Tennessee.

Throughout her career, Lori has worked with children, adults, and individuals with co-occurring needs, always bringing compassion, dedication, and strong community support to the families she serves. She is passionate about meeting clients where they are and values the opportunity to work within the community, from home, and directly in clients’ homes to provide meaningful support.
One of Lori’s favorite things about working at Astra is the incredible team she works alongside. She appreciates the way her coworkers continually share their time, resources, and devotion to helping others. ❤️

Outside of work, Lori enjoys spending time with her family. She is married, has twin children, a grandbaby on the way, and absolutely adores her two corgi dogs! 🐾

His approach is trauma-informed, client-driven, and rooted in the belief that every person already possesses unique strengths, gifts, and abilities to navigate life’s challenges. Kris utilizes evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Family Systems Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to tailor treatment to each individual’s goals and experiences.

Kris approaches therapy collaboratively, showing up with authenticity, compassion, and deep respect for each client’s lived experience.
