🏡❤️ SUCCESS STORY: MR. DAVID IS GOING HOME! ❤️🏡

Today is one of those bittersweet days at Bell Avenue Nursing Center. We are so excited to celebrate Mr. David as he returns HOME, but we sure are sad to see this wonderful man and his family go!

When David first came to us following a stroke, he was completely wheelchair-bound. With determination, perseverance, and a whole lot of hard work, David made incredible progress alongside our skilled therapy and nursing teams.

And today… he WALKED out our doors and went home! 🙌❤️

David, watching your strength and independence grow has been such a privilege. Your success is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when determination, compassionate care, teamwork, and an amazing support system all come together.

We couldn’t be prouder of you! Thank you for allowing the Bell Avenue family to be part of your journey. We wish you continued strength, good health, and many happy days at home. Congratulations, David—you did it! 🎉🏡

A huge thank-you to our incredible therapy and nursing teams for the love, encouragement, and dedication you give our residents every day. These are the moments that make it all worthwhile. ❤️

🏐🧠 A little friendly competition goes a long way!

Today our residents put their skills to the test with a fun game of volleyball followed by some brain-boosting trivia! From serving the volleyball to answering trivia questions, there were smiles, laughter, and plenty of team spirit all around. ❤️

Staying active, keeping our minds sharp, and making memories together—that’s what it’s all about!

Goodbye, Lexie Tatum!

Bittersweet doesn’t even begin to describe today. ❤️🍩

Today we had the chance to celebrate Lexi from Good Shepherd Hospice one last time before she begins an exciting new chapter. Next week she’ll be saying “I do!” 💍 and moving away to start married life.

Lexi, thank you for the kindness, compassion, and joy you’ve shared with our residents, staff, and community. Whether you were helping with activities, bringing treats, or simply spending time with those we care for, you always made people feel seen and loved.

We are so incredibly proud of you and grateful for everything you’ve done for Bell Avenue Nursing Center and the Elk City community. While we’ll certainly miss your smiling face, we couldn’t be happier for you as you begin this new adventure.

From all of us at Bell Avenue—congratulations, Lexi! We wish you a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness. Thank you for leaving such a meaningful mark on our hearts. 💙

🎶 Pickin’ in the Park! 🌳🎸

What a beautiful Oklahoma evening spent enjoying Pickin’ in the Park! Our residents had the best time listening to live music, soaking up the fresh air, visiting with friends, and making memories together.

There’s something special about music under the trees, a gorgeous sunset, and smiles all around. Moments like these remind us that it’s the little things—community, laughter, and great company—that make life so meaningful.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this wonderful evening possible. Our residents truly had an amazing time! ❤️

Today we're excited to celebrate Barbara, lovingly known in her private circle as "Butch!" 💙

Born and raised in Childress, Texas, with ties to both Texas and Oklahoma, Barbara brings a warm smile, a kind heart, and a friendly spirit wherever she goes. She loves country music, designing beautiful silk flowers, fried chicken, and everything about the fall season.

When asked what she wants everyone to know, her answer says it all:

"I am friendly, and I do not judge anyone." ❤️

We are so thankful to have Barbara as part of the Bell Avenue Nursing Center family. Thank you for sharing your kindness, your smile, and your heart with all of us!

Nothing brings people together like a little friendly competition! 🎲💙

Today our residents enjoyed an afternoon of laughs, snacks, and a fun dice game with Courtney Caskey from A Path Of Care! Thank you for spending time with our Bell Avenue family and making every visit so special. Your kindness, compassion, and commitment to our residents mean more than words can express.
