Dehydration doesn’t always show up as extreme thirst! Some subtle signs can easily be overlooked, including:
* Fatigue or low energy
* Headaches
* Brain fog or difficulty concentrating
* Dizziness, especially when standing up
* Dry lips or dry mouth
* Muscle cramps
* Increased irritability or mood changes
* Dark yellow urine or urinating less often
* Dry skin
* Food cravings, particularly for salty foods
* Constipation
* Poor exercise performance or feeling overheated more easily
Even mild dehydration can affect how your body functions. Since water helps regulate body temperature, transport nutrients, lubricate joints, and support energy production, not getting enough fluids can impact both physical and mental performance.
During hot summer months or periods of increased sweating, replenishing both water and electrolytes can be especially important to help maintain proper hydration!
