“Knots are actual knots in your muscles.”

🚫Myth!

Those “knots” you feel aren’t muscles tied into little balls.

They’re usually areas of muscle tension and sensitive spots (often called trigger points) that can develop from stress, repetitive movements, poor posture, overuse, or even not moving enough.

The good news? They can often be improved with massage, stretching, movement, hydration, and addressing the habits that caused them.

Massage isn’t about “breaking up knots”—it’s about helping your body relax, improving circulation, and restoring healthier movement!

I hope you’re all having a wonderful week! My family and I are taking a little time away to relax and make memories together on vacation. 🌴💙
