Wow! What a night it was!
Casino Night brought in family, residents, friends and special guests from WellQuest of Granite Bay for a night of fun!

Thank you to all who were able to attend and show support for such a great cause as well as the donors for prize baskets. Almost $2,000 was raised for Alzheimer’s Awareness.

There are some BIG transformations happening in our art studio!

Our residents have been hard at work designing our one-of-a-kind “Wood Quilt”—a beautiful collaborative art project that will soon become a permanent piece of our community, displayed proudly on one of the studio walls.

What makes this project so special is that every piece represents the creativity, individuality, and personal touch of the residents who helped bring it to life.

It’s more than just art—it’s an opportunity for our residents to leave their mark, share their creativity, and help shape the spaces they call home.

We can’t wait to see the finished masterpiece!

When you discover that a resident has a hobby, talent, or passion that others would love to learn more about… we put it on the calendar!

Bill loves and breathes building model airplanes and knows every single thing about these planes that went down in history and so we knew we had to get him a platform to share!

We want our residents to feel empowered to lead an activity, share a presentation, or teach others about something they love. Their unique interests and talents can become meaningful opportunities for connection, creativity, and learning.

And who knows? Seeing one resident share their passion may inspire another to step forward and share theirs or start a new hobby alongside them!

We give our residents a platform to shine—as we sit back and watch the creativity blossom.

This week, some of our residents stepped outside their comfort zones and into a new way of expressing their creativity.

With each resident working from the same template, every design took on a personality of its own. Different colors, ideas, perspectives, and creative choices transformed the same starting point into something completely unique.

And that’s what makes this picture more than just a fun creative project. It’s a beautiful reminder that while we may share the same starting point, each of us brings our own story, perspective, and individuality to the canvas.

Sometimes the most meaningful moments happen on the most ordinary days.

Our Culinary Creations Crew teamed up with staff to make chocolate buttercream and lemon curd cupcakes for our monthly Birthday Bash. From zesting fresh lemons to making buttercream from scratch using a resident’s recipe, the activity was filled with laughter, reminiscing, and the sounds of Cupcake Wars in the background.

More than baking, it was an opportunity for residents to use their lifelong skills, share traditions, connect with others, and experience the joy that comes from creating something together.

Whew! And just like that, we SQUEEZED this week dry with our Lemon Festival!

From our Silver Fox Men’s Club building the lemonade stand with sanding and painting to our crafters making the banners and our Red Hat Ladies group serving lemon treats- it was a special kind of day!

We had several flavors of lemonade served from lavender to watermelon, a variety of hospice agencies handing out lemon lotions and chapstick samples and vendors, both residents and local who were able to sell their goods.

With our team hitting customer service out of the park and our residents being our most valuable “players”, we thought it only made sense to throw an All-Star celebration buffet.

Residents and staff wore their favorite baseball attire, enjoyed the classic ball park foods, pictures and even enjoyed a classic baseball film on the big screen over cracker jacks.
One lucky residents and one lucky staff member each won a couple of tickets to a Rivercats and Giants game!

Huge thanks to everyone who supported the Sacramento Youth Band Fundraiser, "Pasta and Pops!" We're thrilled to announce that the event was sold out! The hall was packed with over 230 people.

WellQuest was proud to provide and prepare a delicious pasta dinner for those in attendance. WellQuest is honored to support such a great organization and thank them for all the wonderful concerts they’ve brought to our community over the past year. Our residents absolutely love having them come and play!

The Sacramento Youth Band is celebrating an incredible 69 years of fostering musical talent, and this night was filled with wonderful music, along with an incredible silent auction and exciting raffle prizes that made the evening even more special!

Let’s keep the momentum going and continue to support our talented youth! Stay tuned for more events in the future!
