This just got sent to my clients... Hi all. I wanted to update everyone today on the status of Time Well Spent in light of Gov. Newsom’s new Regional Stay Home Order.
The Regional Stay Home Order will go into effect within 48 hours in regions with less than 15% ICU availability. Sacramento County is currently AT 15%, and is expected to fall below the 15% ICU capacity within a day or two. Sacramento County falls into the Greater Sacramento Region, along with Alpine, Amador, Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba counties.
The Order prohibits private gatherings of any size, closes sector operations except for critical infrastructure and retail, and requires 100% masking and physical distancing in all others. All Personal Care Services will be closed (massage, esthetician, hair, nails).
The Order will remain in effect for at least 3 weeks and, after that period, will be lifted when a region’s projected ICU capacity meets or exceeds 15%. This will be assessed on a weekly basis after the initial 3 week period. Once a Regional Order is lifted, the current colored tier operation will resume by County.
The Order allows access to (and travel for) critical services and allows outdoor activities to preserve Californians’ physical and mental health. This limited closure is meant to help stop the surge and prevent overwhelming regional ICU capacity.
Due to the inevitabIe closure coming, and in an effort to not have everyone waiting to hear daily whether your appointment is cancelled, Time Well Spent will be closing as of Friday December 4th at 4:00pm.
Thank you all for your continued support of me and Time Well Spent. Since we will not be able to hold our annual gift certificate sale in December, I will be sending out another email soon with details on how you can still get gift certificates to give for Christmas - Heaven knows we will all need a massage after this! I sincerely hope to see you all again in January!
Stay well and stay safe!
