Dialectical Behavior Therapy is a specialized form of psychotherapy adapted by Marsha Linehan in 1993. The program focuses on teaching skills to manage poorly regulated emotions and reactive behavior. The program is organized into 4 modules: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness.
