Confident Caregiver Series – Join Us This November!

Caring for someone else can be a lot to manage, and you don’t have to do it alone! Join us every Tuesday in November for our Confident Caregiver Series to learn, connect, and find helpful resources.

Furry Friends Make Our Days! 🐾

A big thank-you to Pippin and Tripper for joining us at Memory Café on Tuesday! These two sweet therapy dogs were the perfect addition to our group, bringing smiles, laughter, and plenty of tail-wagging joy.

We loved learning more about therapy dog training and how these special pups bring comfort and happiness to others. Sometimes, a little time with a furry friend is just what we need to brighten our day!

Want to join us for a future Memory Café? We meet every second Tuesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. at Central Church for a welcoming morning of activities, conversation, and time together. We’d love to see you there!

What a great turnout at our Vendor & Expert Fair! Thank you to everyone who came out, connected with local vendors and experts, and took time to learn about the resources available in our community.

Memory Café is Tomorrow!

We’re excited to welcome Tripper and Pippin to our Memory Café tomorrow! These special therapy dogs will be joining us for a fun morning as we learn about therapy dog training, what makes a great therapy dog, and how these amazing pups bring comfort and joy to others.

We had another wonderful Senior Seminar yesterday at Central Church. Hayley from HealthyLifetime joined us to talk about the different domains of well-being and how focusing on these areas can help older adults maintain their health, wellness, and independence.

Through Thryve, HealthyLifetime is available at no cost, giving older adults an opportunity to better understand their individual needs, identify areas they may want to focus on, and take steps to help maintain their independence and reduce the risk of losing it.
