Another meaningful morning at Memory Café!

We got creative with watercolor hummingbirds—some participants drew their own, while others let our expert artist take the lead!

There were plenty of laughs, shared stories, new facts about hummingbirds, and, as always, meaningful connections.

A little kindness goes a long way.

Partnering with Thumbs Up to bring tthese boxes to older adults is meaningful on its own—but adding EdVenture Club made this initiative even more special. Through a series of intergenerational workshops, K–5th grade students packed each box and created heartfelt, handmade cards for the older adults who were nominated.

Each box is more than a thoughtful gift—it's a reminder that someone is thinking of you and that kindness can connect generations.

A heartfelt thank you to Thumbs Up, EdVenture Club, the students, and everyone who helped make these special deliveries possible. We can't wait to brighten a few more days!

Let's Get Creative at Memory Café!

Join us on Tuesday, August 11 for a relaxing morning of watercolor painting! Whether you've painted before or are picking up a brush for the first time, this activity is all about enjoying the process, expressing your creativity, and connecting with others in a welcoming environment.

Memory Café is a free, social gathering for individuals living with memory loss and their care partners. Together, we'll create, laugh, and enjoy meaningful conversation over coffee and treats.

While Kelly is new to the Thryve team, she's certainly not new to believing in our mission! After years of supporting older adults in her professional career and cheering on our mission through our Community Collaborative, she's officially joined the team—and we couldn't be happier to have her!

Yesterday, we welcomed the Central MN Council on Aging for our Senior Seminar, "Stronger with Others: Solo Aging" at Central Church. Attendees explored the benefits and challenges of aging independently, while learning how building connections, planning ahead, and knowing where to turn for support can help us thryve.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a great afternoon of learning, conversation, and community!
