Physical health is important to overall health. If we take care of our bodies by giving them the fuel they need (real food, not processed/sugar), hydrate, stay active, and get adequate sleep (goal is 8-9 hours/night, even for adults) we create a healthy base for the other areas of health. I encourage you to find 1 change you can make toward improving your physical health and commit to it. You will feel better.

Grief is hard. It is important too. We need to grieve well. Its ok to sit in it and feel it. Write your sadness in a journal; better yet, take your broken heart to the One who is close to the brokenhearted.

This is my table every morning, as I draw close to God. Reading isn't for everyone, but finding a way to spiritually center and making it a daily exercise is important for your overall health.

Processing Fresh Grief:
Let the feelings come and go; don't try to restrict them. Walk away and take breaks as you need.
Give space to others' grief.
