Tomorrow, America turns 250.

It's a staggering number for a country. But think about it for a second and it stops being about a country at all.

Because a whole generation lived through the part we now call history. They grew up with the radio before the television, the letter before the phone call, the porch before the group chat.

They built the ordinary American life the rest of us were simply handed.

Two and a half centuries is a milestone none of us will ever see again. And the people who carried us the furthest deserve to feel every bit of it, not from a distance, not down the hall, but right where they are, known by name.

That's what this weekend is really about for us.

Making sure the ones who gave us the last 250 years never have to celebrate the milestones alone.

We’ve had some remodeling done at the center over the last few months. We were able to do the work in house. A big thank you to our maintenance department for their work and craftsmanship. Also, thank you to Wymark Designs for the beautiful design and support. It is a great improvement that the staff and residents have enjoyed.
