🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🚑 **A pretty great view from the “office” this last weekend!** ⛰️🍂

A big thank you to **Elko High School** for having Elko County Ambulance on standby while boys and girls cross country runners from schools across Northern Nevada took on a beautiful—and challenging—run through Lamoille Canyon!

Our crew had the best seat in the house to cheer on these incredible student-athletes while helping ensure the safety and well-being of the runners and spectators. 🚑👏

Great athletes, a supportive community, and some of the best views Northern Nevada has to offer—hard to beat a day like that! 💙⛰️

Congratulations to all the runners! 🏅👟

🎉🚑 **Parades, community, and plenty of local pride!** 🚑🎉

We’ve had the pleasure of participating in a couple of great parades around Elko County recently!

At the **Elko County Fair Parade**, a special shoutout goes to our very own AEMT, **Shannon Brophy**, who brought a little extra 🔥 to the parade by showcasing her **fire baton twirling** skills in front of our ambulance! 🔥✨ Thank you to everyone who came out, waved, cheered, and helped make the parade such a fun community tradition!

We were also excited to join **Spring Creek High School** for their **Homecoming Parade!** 💜🖤 We’re always proud to support our local HOSA students as they learn, grow, and explore careers in healthcare and public service.

Thank you, SCHS HOSA, for including us.... and **GO SPARTANS!** 💜🖤⚔️

We love any opportunity to get our ambulances out in the community for the FUN stuff! 😉🚑

🧸🚑 **Looks like we have a few new crew members at the station!**

A huge **thank you to our local VFW** for the generous donation of these stuffed bears! These little guys will ride along with our crews and be there to provide some extra comfort to kids who may be having a scary or unpleasant experience in the ambulance. ❤️

For now, they’re hanging out at the station, patiently awaiting their next assignment—and their new homes! 🧸🏠🚑

We’re incredibly grateful for community partners who help us make the tough moments a little easier for our smallest patients. 💙

🚑🎉 A huge **THANK YOU** to Nevada DOT for inviting us, along with our surrounding partner agencies, to participate in the **Road Rally** event at Mountain View Elementary! 🛣️🚦

We had a great time introducing the students to the ambulance in a fun, non-emergent environment and helping them learn more about the important role EMS plays in our community. 🚑👩‍🚒👨‍🚒

Events like these are a wonderful opportunity to help kids feel comfortable around emergency responders and equipment before they ever need us in an emergency. ❤️🚨
