🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our community has been showing up in a big way!
On Friday, we welcomed Innovative Radiology's mobile mammography unit to Blount Rural Health Center, providing free mammograms for uninsured patients. All appointments were filled, and we're thankful to help make these important screenings more accessible!
This weekend also brought the Pink Together Stronger Together Cancer Awareness Walk in downtown Guthrie, where our community came together to support those affected by breast cancer.
And there's still more to come!
🎀 Wednesday, October 21 | Noon
Survivor Wednesday at the Todd County Library, featuring Samantha Boley sharing her story, "I Had Cancer, She Had Kindergarten."
🎀 Saturday, October 24 | 11:30 AM
Todd County Woman's Club Breast Cancer Awareness Event at Elkton Baptist Church Family Life Center, celebrating five years of breast cancer awareness.
🎀 Monday, November 23
We'll welcome the mobile mammography unit back to Blount Rural Health Center for another day of free mammograms for our patients. Appointments are limited, so give us a call to ask about availability.
Early detection matters, and we're proud to be part of a community that continues to raise awareness, support survivors, and make these important conversations a priority.
Thank you to everyone helping make a difference right here in Todd County! 💗
