Students survived their first written and practical test this week. They were challenged on the foot and ankle.

We ended the week on Achilles Tendon ruptures: how they occur, surgery, rehab, and how to treat them. Thanks to an injury to Aaron Rodgers on Monday Night Football, we had some real life comparison.

Slow Twitch vs. Fast Twitch Muscle Fibers: students have been learning the difference between the two and how to identify which muscle fiber they have. This is important when designing rehab, workouts, and sports performance.
