Tuesday was a marvelous day. We took a beautiful bus ride through Lone Elk Park and enjoyed ice cream cones. The animals were amazing.

💲Our First Fun Bucks Store💲
We did something special for the month of July, Fun Bucks! Every time a resident came to an activity, or won at bingo, or had a one-on-one visit from a member of the activity staff, they got a Fun Buck--or two--put in their "account." At the end of the month, we opened the Fun Buck store using donations and items we purchased that we knew residents were wanting. With over 120 residents with Fun Bucks, we knew we had to go BIG!

We had a great week, but two events really stood out: our monthly birthday party on Wednesday, and Friday's morning donuts and games. Friday afternoon's Passport to France was also a success (but we didn't get any pictures of it!) Residents learned about French history, culture and art. They also had toasted baguettes with Nutella and a foo-foo drink called the Monaco.
