Fifty shades of blue, one important message: Men's Health Matters. ๐Ÿ’™

From the clinic and administrative offices to family vacations and weekend activities, ECMC employees showed that supporting men's health isn't limited to the workplace.

Men's health matters. Annual screenings, knowing your numbers, and seeking care when something doesn't feel right can make a meaningful difference.

Thank you to our staff for helping us spread awareness, supporting the men in our lives, and reminding us all that taking care of your health is always in style.

๐Ÿ’™ Specialty Spotlight: Wound Care Technology ๐Ÿ’™

When most people think of wound care, they think of bandages and dressings.

But advanced wound care is much more than that.

Many woundsโ€”including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, venous ulcers, and traumatic injuriesโ€”can become difficult to heal and may require specialized treatment.

That's why ECMC's Wound Care Clinic utilizes advanced tools such as MolecuLight technology, which uses fluorescence imaging to help providers identify bacteria that may not be visible during a standard wound assessment and guide treatment decisions.

Innovative technology is just one way ECMC continues investing in patient experience, access to specialty care, and better outcomes for our communities.

๐ŸŒณ Ellsworth County localsโ€”we need your help!

What's one outdoor spot, activity, or hidden gem that every family in our area should experience at least once?

Tell us where it is and why you love it! ๐Ÿ‘‡

In honor of ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธFamily Health & Fitness Day, we're celebrating all the ways families stay active, make memories, and support their physical and mental well-being together.

As summer activities and fall sports approach, it's also a great time to schedule your child's wellness exam and sports physical.

At ECMC, sports physicals are completed as part of a wellness exam to support healthy physical and emotional growth.

โœ” Sports physicals for the upcoming school year can be completed anytime after May 1
โœ” Most wellness exams are covered by insurance
โœ” One appointment can help prepare your child for a healthy and active year ahead

๐Ÿ’ฆ Sneak Peek! ๐Ÿ’ฆ

One of the exciting additions coming to our new Rehabilitation Services space is the HydroWorx aquatic therapy system.

Aquatic therapy allows patients to exercise and rehabilitate in a supportive environment where the water helps reduce stress on joints while improving strength, balance, mobility, and confidence.

Whether recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, rebuilding after an injury, or working toward greater independence, this innovative technology will help expand therapy options right here in our community.

We're excited to bring this advanced rehabilitation tool to Ellsworth County and can't wait to share more as our new rehab space nears completion.

๐ŸŒพ Today we're highlighting Field Readyโ€”a community initiative focused on supporting the health, safety, and well-being of the people who help keep rural Kansas moving forward.

Field Ready is about more than healthcare. It's about promoting agricultural safety, encouraging wellness, building community partnerships, and celebrating the people who make our rural communities strong.

One of the newest ways we're sharing that story is through the Field Ready 2026โ€“2027 Calendar, created in partnership with Ellsworth County Farm Bureau and featuring photography submitted by members of our community.

If you'd like to support the Field Ready initiative and own a piece of local rural pride, preorders are now open through June 30.
