Education: Westminster College, Towson University, Johns Hopkins University, University of Pittsburgh, and Southern California University. Therapy at Woodside is wholistic in nature. For a person to be whole, areas of mind, body, and spirit all have to be addressed. Dr. Pearsall has spent her professional life learning the modalities of treatment. People who come for therapy have options and expo

sure to the more traditional cognitive behavioral talk therapy. There is the addition of bio and neurofeedback to help with stress management, pain management, and cognitive skills training for ADHD and brain re-training. The will receive recommendations for nutritional supplementation. Clients who have undergone traumas will have the option of undergoing Eye Movement Desensitization, and Reprocessing (considered the highest standard and most effective treatment for dealing with Post traumatic stress disorder). Hypnotherapy is offered for smoking cessation and weight reduction. Hypnotherapy is also provided for those who wish to experience a deep sense of relaxation and work through emotional blockages they may be experiencing in therapy. Children undergo a combination of play and art therapy where they can learn problem and decision making skills, while also working through stress and anger with imaginative play.

Big things are coming to Beaver Avenue! 🏗️✨
We are excited to officially introduce the Western PA Foundation For The Arts (WPFA) to the Ellwood City community. Our home at 930 Beaver Ave is currently undergoing a major $2.5 million renovation to become a true sanctuary for our neighbors.
This building will be more than just an art gallery and classrooms. It will also be the future headquarters for Helping Hearts Ministries, our outreach program dedicated to serving those in need.
What’s coming to 930 Beaver?
🎨 Arts & Education: Local galleries and creative learning spaces.
📚 Early Literacy: The home of the "Big World" book series to support our kids.
🥣 Community Support: A future soup kitchen and food pantry run by Helping Hearts.
🏠 Stability: Transitional apartments on the upper floors for those needing a bridge to a better future.
We aren't open for services just yet as the dust is still flying, but we wanted to share the blueprint with you. We believe in the future of Ellwood City, and we can’t wait to build it together.
