Ankle pain can feel like it steals the joy from your movement — every landing, every leap, every turn asking more from a joint that’s already overworked. As dancers and gymnasts, your ankles absorb force, stabilize balance, and keep your flow seamless… until they don’t.

At Ares PT, we help you understand why your ankles hurt and how to rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence so you can move without hesitation. Your training deserves a foundation that supports you.

Ready to take the next step toward pain‑free movement? Book with us today and let’s get you back to doing what you love.

At Ares, we’re big fans of the “simple, not easy” category — and Copenhagen banded march planks are exactly that. Your hips fight to stay level, your core fires nonstop, and the band adds just enough chaos to keep you honest.
It’s tough, but it builds real, functional strength that shows up in sport, training, and everyday movement.

Sprains aren’t “small injuries” — they’re warning signs. Save this so you know what to do next time, and share it with a teammate who’s always pushing through pain. Strong ankles = stronger skills.

Wake up that posterior chain!

Feet‑elevated glute bridge marches are a simple way to level up your hip stability, glute strength, and core control — all in one move.
Stronger glutes = better movement, less pain, more power.

Try it out and feel the difference!

Getting back pain every time you deadlift? It might not be the movement itself — it might be the load, mobility demands, or stability requirements your body isn’t ready for yet. A great alternative while you build those foundations is the single‑leg RDL.

SL RDLs reduce stress on the spine, improve hip stability, and teach your glutes and hamstrings to actually do their job. You still train the hinge pattern, but with more control and less risk of aggravating your back.

If deadlifts are giving you trouble, this variation can help you stay strong, stay moving, and work your way back to heavier lifts safely.
